I'm Phillip Scott. I came up through my father's carpet cleaning operation, and I've been cleaning carpet since I was a kid. I've seen every unusual carpet problem and every spot and stain imaginable, and I started Scott's Carpet Care in 2015 with one core commitment: treat every home like it's my own grandmother's.
A decade in, 1,100+ five-star reviews deep, and 15+ cities served later, we continue to deliver on our commitment. Every job receives identical refined processes, pro-grade tools, and owner-operator care standards, no matter if it's 2 rooms or an entire commercial space.
Because the machine matters. More heat, more vacuum, less residue.
Every Scott's van rolls up with a truck-mounted Sapphire 570 system, one of the most powerful rigs in the industry. But horsepower is just the start. What really separates us is the care we take with your home throughout every job.
Every carpet we clean goes through the same six-step process — the one we've refined over a decade of Humble homes.
We walk the areas with you, answer your concerns, clarify any uncertainties, and lock in the cost before we start. No surprises, no upsells.
We vacuum to remove dry soil and pet hair, regardless of whether you've already vacuumed your carpet. Extraction only works if the dry dirt is out first.
Drop cloths laid on the lawn. Corner guards installed on the doorways. Furniture moved aside, cleaned underneath, and positioned on plastic tabs or foam blocks.
We apply a biodegradable pre-spray to break up oily soils, then hand-treat any spots or stains with specialty spotting products.
Our truck-mounted system rinses and extracts with fresh softened water, leaving carpet clean, fluffy, soft, and residue-free.
An invisible protective layer that enhances stain resistance and helps your vacuum extract more soil between cleanings. Ask about the add-on.
"We use UV black lights and moisture meters on every job to locate hidden pet urine before we treat it — not after." — Phillip Scott, Owner
Most cleaners guess. We verify. Every carpet cleaning job at Scott's includes a UV black light inspection and moisture meter scan to identify hard-to-spot accidents that escape both sight and smell. That way we address the root cause instead of just surface-level stains.
See Our Full Pet Odor TreatmentDried pet urine fluoresces under UV — even accidents that are years old. We sweep the whole area so nothing hides.
Tells us whether urine is surface-level or has soaked into the pad and subfloor — so we match the right treatment to the real problem.
Our truck-mounted extraction lifts so much soil, the carpet noticeably changes color — and the wand pattern stays visible until the pile relaxes.
When carpet is critical to your lease agreement, perfection is non-negotiable. We serve property managers, restaurants, offices, and retail businesses across Greater Houston, adapting our schedules to fit your business needs.

Most homes need two to four hours for a complete job start to finish: walk-through, pre-vacuum, property prep, cleaning, and final walk-through. Larger homes or pet treatment jobs take longer. We give you a realistic time window when we confirm the quote, not a rushed estimate.
Usually within several hours. Our truck-mounted system pulls out far more water than portable units, so carpets are damp rather than saturated when we leave. Most families can walk on socks or resume their day that same afternoon. Heavy furniture goes back once the pile is fully dry, typically within 6 to 8 hours.
That's it. That's the guarantee. No forms to fill out, no hoops to jump through. If anything about our work doesn't meet your expectations, call us and we'll re-clean it — on the house.
Two ways to get started. Pick what's easiest for you.
