I'm Phillip Scott. I grew up in my father's cleaning business, and I've been cleaning carpet since I was a kid. I've encountered virtually every type of carpet damage, stain, and spotting challenge you can think of, and I started Scott's Carpet Care in 2015 with one core commitment: treat every home like it's my own grandmother's.
Over a decade, with 1,100+ five-star reviews and 15+ cities served, we're still keeping that promise. Every job receives identical refined processes, pro-grade tools, and owner-operator care standards, from a 2-room project to a complete commercial facility.
Because the machine matters. More heat, more vacuum, less residue.
Every Scott's van rolls up with a truck-mounted Sapphire 570 system, a leading-edge cleaning platform built for professional results. But horsepower is just the start. What really separates us is how we treat your property during the cleaning.
Every carpet we clean goes through the same six-step process — the one we've refined over a decade of Humble homes.
We go through the areas with you, discuss any questions or worries, clarify any uncertainties, and verify the total before we start. No surprises, no upsells.
We perform a thorough vacuum to extract dry soil and pet hair, even if you've already vacuumed. Extraction only works if the dry dirt is out first.
Drop cloths placed on the lawn. Corner guards secured on the doorways. Furniture shifted, cleaned under, and placed on plastic tabs or foam blocks.
We apply a biodegradable pre-spray to break up oily soils, then use specialty spotting product for individual spot treatment.
Our truck-mounted system rinses and extracts with softened fresh water, leaving carpet clean, fluffy, soft, and residue-free.
An unseen protective barrier that improves stain resistance and allows your vacuum to remove more soil between cleanings. Ask about the add-on.
"We use UV black lights and moisture meters on every job to locate hidden pet urine before we treat it — not after." — Phillip Scott, Owner
Most cleaners guess. We verify. Every carpet cleaning job at Scott's includes a UV black light inspection and moisture meter scan to find hidden accidents, even the ones you can't see or smell. That way we target the real problem rather than only obvious spots.
See Our Full Pet Odor TreatmentDried pet urine fluoresces under UV — even accidents that are years old. We sweep the whole area so nothing hides.
Tells us whether urine is surface-level or has soaked into the pad and subfloor — so we match the right treatment to the real problem.
Our truck-mounted extraction lifts so much soil, the carpet noticeably changes color — and the wand pattern stays visible until the pile relaxes.
Carpet that's central to your customer experience or a lease requirement leaves no space for mistakes. We work alongside property managers, restaurants, offices, and retail businesses in Greater Houston, working on schedules that align with your operations.

Amazing job. Excellent customer service!
The crew did a great job. Very positive and great folks.
Excellent work
Most residential jobs take two to four hours start to finish, which includes the walk-through, pre-vacuum, property prep, cleaning, and final walk-through. Larger homes or pet treatment jobs take longer. We give you a realistic time window when we confirm the quote, not a quick guess.
Usually within a few hours. Our truck-mounted system extracts significantly more moisture than portable equipment, so carpets are damp rather than saturated when we leave. Most families can walk on socks or resume their day that same afternoon. Heavy furniture goes back once the pile is completely dry, typically within 6 to 8 hours.
That's it. That's the guarantee. No forms to fill out, no hoops to jump through. If anything about our work doesn't meet your expectations, call us and we'll re-clean it — on the house.
Two ways to get started. Pick what's easiest for you.
