I'm Phillip Scott. I grew up in my father's cleaning business, and I've been cleaning carpet since I was a kid. I've encountered virtually every type of carpet damage, stain, and spotting challenge you can think of, and I started Scott's Carpet Care in 2015 with a simple promise: treat every home like it's my own grandmother's.
After a decade of service, 1,100+ five-star reviews, and expansion across 15+ cities, that promise remains as strong as ever. Every job receives the same refined process, the same pro-grade equipment, and the same owner-operator standard of care, from a 2-room project to a complete commercial facility.
Because the machine matters. More heat, more vacuum, less residue.
Every Scott's van rolls up with a truck-mounted Sapphire 570 system, one of the most powerful rigs in the industry. But horsepower is just the start. What really sets Scott's apart is how we treat your property during the cleaning.
Every carpet we clean goes through the same six-step process — the one we've refined over a decade of Humble homes.
We walk the areas with you, address any concerns, clarify any uncertainties, and verify the total before we start. No surprises, no upsells.
We vacuum to remove dry soil and pet hair, regardless of whether you've already vacuumed your carpet. Extraction only works if the dry dirt is out first.
Drop cloths placed on the lawn. Corner guards installed on the doorways. Furniture slid out of the way, cleaned beneath, and set on plastic tabs or foam blocks.
We apply a biodegradable pre-spray to lift away oily residue, then use specialty spotting product for individual spot treatment.
Our truck-mounted system rinses and extracts with softened fresh water, leaving carpet clean and fluffy with a soft feel and no residue.
An invisible protective layer that enhances stain resistance and helps your vacuum extract more soil between cleanings. Ask about the add-on.
"We use UV black lights and moisture meters on every job to locate hidden pet urine before we treat it — not after." — Phillip Scott, Owner
Most cleaners guess. We verify. Every carpet cleaning job at Scott's includes a UV black light inspection and moisture meter scan to identify concealed accidents that escape both sight and smell. That way we treat the actual source, not just what's visible.
See Our Full Pet Odor TreatmentDried pet urine fluoresces under UV — even accidents that are years old. We sweep the whole area so nothing hides.
Tells us whether urine is surface-level or has soaked into the pad and subfloor — so we match the right treatment to the real problem.
Our truck-mounted extraction lifts so much soil, the carpet noticeably changes color — and the wand pattern stays visible until the pile relaxes.
Carpet that's central to your customer experience or a lease requirement leaves no room for error. We work alongside property managers, restaurants, offices, and retail businesses across Greater Houston, coordinating timing around your business hours.

Great service carpet looks much better
Carpet was a washable wool rug and Scott’s did a fantastic job. Staff communicated effectively and the whole process was very easy.
Excellent experience and would highly recommend Scott's Carpet Care. Communication was great. They were punctual and kept you informed about their location and when they would…
Most residential jobs take two to four hours start to finish, which includes the walk-through, pre-vacuum, property prep, cleaning, and final walk-through. Larger homes or pet treatment jobs take longer. We give you a realistic time window when we confirm the quote, not a hurried timeline.
Usually within several hours. Our truck-mounted system pulls out far more water than portable units, so carpets are only damp, not soaked when we leave. Most families walk on socks or go about their day that same afternoon. Heavy furniture goes back once the pile is fully dry, typically within 6 to 8 hours.
That's it. That's the guarantee. No forms to fill out, no hoops to jump through. If anything about our work doesn't meet your expectations, call us and we'll re-clean it — on the house.
Two ways to get started. Pick what's easiest for you.
