Upholstery is one of the hardest-working pieces of furniture you own, and also one of the most neglected. Between popcorn spills, daily body oils, pet hair, and drink mishaps, your sofa is absorbing years of soil that a vacuum simply can't reach.
We've professionally cleaned a vast array of furnishings across Greater Houston, from everyday microfiber couches to premium cotton and velvet family pieces. The right process depends entirely on the fabric. Misstep and you'll shrink, ring, or bleach the material. Get it right and it looks like the day you bought it.
Top half shows the brush agitation step mid-clean. Bottom half shows the finished result. No touch-ups, no filters, no stock photos.
A vacuum removes what sits on the surface. It doesn't touch what's embedded in the fabric. Here's how to see for yourself in about 60 seconds.
A white terry cloth works best — you want to see what comes off.
Hold the towel tightly over the attachment hose. Grip firmly so it doesn't get sucked in.
With the vacuum on, work the towel across the arms, seats, and back of your sofa or chair.
Pull the towel off. If there's a dark ring where the suction pulled the fabric, it's time for a professional clean.
Upholstery fabric is thin and each type has its own cleaning rules. We identify the fiber before we start, then match the process to the material.
Common, durable, and tricky — shows water rings easily. We use low-moisture methods and careful drying.
Natural and absorbent. Can shrink or brown if cleaned wrong. We use fiber-safe pre-treatment and controlled moisture.
Elegant, breathable, water-sensitive. Requires minimal moisture and expert hand-detailing — our specialty.
The most common modern upholstery. Handles deeper cleaning well — ideal for households with kids or pets.
Plush and comfortable, but mats quickly. We restore pile direction and lift crushed fibers during grooming.
Luxurious and easily crushed. We use low-agitation methods and brush the nap back to its original direction.
Stain-resistant and tough, but holds oily soils. Our pre-spray breaks the bond so extraction gets the rest.
Delicate and sensitive to heat, alkalinity, and agitation. Hand-detailed with wool-safe solutions.
Upholstery is too fragile to skip steps. Here's exactly what happens on every job.
We determine what fabric we're dealing with, test color-fastness, review seam integrity, and document any pre-existing damage. Nothing gets cleaned until we know exactly what we're working with.
We thoroughly vacuum all panels, cushions, crevices, and seams, pulling out pet hair, crumbs, dry soil, and dust before any moisture touches the fabric.
A treatment solution formulated for your fabric is applied uniformly. Spot treatment is applied to stains and spills.
Hand grooming with soft bristles methodically applies the treatment to extract deep-set soil without abrading or over-wetting the fabric.
Low-moisture extraction removes soil and solution, then we groom the nap back into place and position air movers to dry. Most pieces are ready for use within 4 hours or less.
The best time to apply fabric protector is right after cleaning, when the fibers are open. See how it works below →
Once we've cleaned your upholstery, the fibers are in an ideal state to receive a topical treatment. It attaches to each fiber, forming an invisible shield, one that allows you to blot up spills before they penetrate.
Ask about protector when you book — we'll quote it as an optional add-on, no pressure.

Yes. We determine the fiber type first, then customize our cleaning method accordingly. microfiber, cotton, linen, polyester, chenille, velvet, olefin, wool, each has its own cleaning rules. We'll walk you through what's safe for your piece during the free quote.
Most pieces are usable again in 3 hours. Our low-moisture extraction removes more water than portable units, so fabrics come out moist, not soaked. We set up air movers before we leave to speed up drying.
