Pet Odor Removal · Houston, TX

Most cleaners mask the smell. We remove it.

Pet urine presents a unique challenge. When it comes from your pet, it starts out pH-neutral, but as it dries it turns very basic, and this is what creates the ammonia odor. It also crystallizes as it dries. To actually get rid of it, you need a product that breaks up the urine crystal and a natural enzyme to digest the proteins. Standard retail products fail to do both.

After 10 years of working throughout the Houston homes and 1,100+ five-star reviews, we've built our pet odor process around addressing urine at the molecular level, not just the surface. Every job starts with a UV black light and moisture meter so we know precisely what we're facing, then we tailor our treatment approach to the depth of penetration.

Local Tip · Houston

A quick heads-up for Houston pet owners.

Pet odor in Houston homes gets worse fast because of our humidity and older air conditioning systems that just recirculate the same stale air. If you've got a pet accident soaking into hardwood or carpet, the moisture gets trapped and starts breaking down, especially in houses around Garden Oaks where homes are older and settling unevenly. The smell compounds in summer when you're running AC constantly but never really getting fresh air moving through. A pro can identify where odor is actually hiding, not just mask it with sprays. Call (346) 550-7445 to get someone out who knows how Houston's climate makes pet accidents stick around longer than folks expect.
Our Exclusive Process

We find every accident before we treat — not after.

"We use UV black lights and moisture meters on every job to locate hidden pet urine before we treat it — not after." — Phillip Scott, Owner

This is where our process truly sets us apart. Most cleaners make assumptions about problem areas based on your direction. We verify. Before we touch a drop of cleaning solution, we sweep the entire area with a UV black light and use a moisture meter to verify findings at each suspicious spot.

  • Dried urine fluoresces under UV — even years-old accidents
  • Moisture meter tells us whether it's in the pile, pad, or subfloor
  • We map every spot before treatment — then re-check when we're done

UV Black Light

Dried pet urine fluoresces under UV — even accidents that are years old. We sweep the whole area so nothing hides.

Moisture Meter

Tells us whether urine is surface-level or has soaked into the pad and subfloor — so we match the right treatment to the real problem.

Two Treatments, One Choice

Topical or restoration — matched to your situation.

Pet urine doesn't always stop at the carpet fibers. The location where it penetrated determines which treatment approach will be effective. We'll tell you which one you need during the free quote, honestly, with UV black light and moisture meter data to support our recommendation.

Treatment 01Most Common

Topical Odor Removal

Our standard process for the large majority of pet odor jobs — effective on urine that's in the face yarn, backing, and pad.

  • 1Apply a urine-specific product topically — breaks down crystals and digests protein
  • 2Allow proper dwell time for the product to reach & neutralize the urine
  • 3Remove with our sub-surface extraction tool — pulls urine out of the face yarn, backing, and padding
  • 4Treat & extract as many times as needed — until no more urine comes out
  • 5Hand-treat any remaining staining with specialty spotting products
Treatment 02For Severe Cases

Restoration Odor Removal

When a pet has marked the same spot over and over, urine eventually soaks through the carpet and backing and starts absorbing into the subfloor. Topical won't fix that. This will.

  • 1Disengage & pull back the carpet — the problem area is obvious from the back side
  • 2Remove the contaminated padding in the affected area
  • 3Clean the subfloor, then apply a sealing product so residual urine can't penetrate back through
  • 4Treat the carpet backing and face yarns like our topical process
  • 5Replace the padding, reinstall the carpet, and finish with a full clean + spot treatment
Our Pet Odor Process

Every step in one visit. Nothing skipped.

Here's exactly what happens when we come out for a pet odor job — from the moment we walk in to the final UV check on the way out.

01

Walk-through & consultation

We walk through the areas with you, ask you about pets and what's happened over time, and listen. Most of the time you already know where the worst spots are, but sometimes the UV black light tells a different story.

02

UV & moisture mapping

Lights down, UV black light on. We inspect the affected rooms, locate every accident, and measure penetration depth with the moisture meter. You see the map before we touch anything.

03

Pre-vacuum & property prep

Thoroughly vacuum to remove pet hair and dry soil. Lay drop cloths across the lawn, place corner guards in the doorways, and prepare plastic tabs and foam blocks for furniture protection.

04

Topical treatment at the molecular level

We apply a specialized urine treatment that dissolves crystals and uses natural enzymes to digest the proteins responsible for odors. Store-bought sprays don't do either.

05

Sub-surface extraction — as many passes as it takes

Our sub-surface extraction tool pulls urine from the face yarn, carpet backing, and pad underneath, not just what lies on the carpet surface. We repeatedly treat and extract until urine stops coming out.

06

Final UV verification

We use a black light to re-inspect every area before we finish. Any spots that still show under black light get treated again during that same appointment with no extra fee. It's the only method that ensures the job is genuinely done.

+

Restoration protocol (severe cases)

If the same spot has been marked over and over and urine has reached the subfloor, we escalate: pull the carpet back, remove the contaminated padding, clean and seal the subfloor so nothing can penetrate back through, replace the pad, reinstall, then finish with a full carpet clean.

Safe For The Whole House

Hard on the urine. Easy on everyone else.

Many pet odor solutions on the market are more aggressive than needed. They rely on heavy fragrance, high VOCs, and residue that leaves your furry friends reluctant to return to treated areas. That's not us. Every product we use is formulated to eliminate pet urine odor without leaving your home smelling like a chemistry set.

  • Low-VOC, fragrance-neutralNo perfume masking. If it smells clean, it's because it is clean.
  • Safe for pets and kids once dryUsually a few hours. Our softened-water rinse pulls residue out so nothing lingers.
  • No ozone, no "bomb" treatmentsWe don't lock you out of your house for 24 hours. The work gets done while you're home.
  • Honest about what we can & can't fixIf your situation calls for subfloor work (or replacement), we say so. No guessing, no upselling.
We're Local to You

Serving Houston, TX and surrounding communities

Pet odor in Houston homes is more than just an inconvenience—it's a real challenge that gets worse with our Gulf humidity and the moisture that comes with seasonal flooding. Whether you live in a newer home or an older one, pet accidents soak deep into subflooring and drywall, and Houston's heat and dampness make those odors linger and multiply. We've worked with families across neighborhoods like The Heights and Memorial who thought they'd have to live with the smell or replace entire floors. The truth is, professional odor removal targets what cleaning alone can't reach. Pets are part of what makes a house a home, and you shouldn't have to choose between the animals you love and a fresh-smelling space. Our team understands Houston's specific climate challenges and how they affect pet odor problems. We're based right here in Humble, making it easy for residents across the metro to get the help they need. Call us at (346) 550-7445 to talk through your situation and find out how we can restore your home.
